A Life-Changing Experience

2014 embraced the end of our eighth season, and the beginning of our ninth here at Ashiyana!
In the world, life has continued much as normal... our biosphere is still being willfully ravaged, yet in spite of this, so many people are waking up to the beautiful possibility of life when lived consciously and with heartfelt intention.
I am passionate about human potential, and Ashiyana is the living embodiment of my deepest dream that we may all "heal" ourselves, and then create our lives in such a way that we can thrive. This takes courage and resolve, but these innate qualities, which are there within us all, are ignited when we create a lifestyle and environment around ourselves which supports and nurtures us.
This is my wish for you all next year... that 2015 be the year when you embrace self-responsibility with both hands, committing to your unique divine purpose here on Earth, and you surround yourself with like-minded souls who share your vision and passion for life. So that when you are flying high on your magic carpet, pursuing your dreams with innocent abandonment, you inspire those around you, and when you are feeling unsure and confused, you can lean on the shoulders of your loving tribe.
I spend a lot of time considering what we can do at Ashiyana to best address the needs of human beings today, in a world which is filled with suffering, and an equal measure of unbounded possibility. Because of this, we will be introducing a number of new retreats and trainings which we hope will entice you - such as "Healing Journeys" - a deep-dive into your unresolved emotional blocks; our first European 200hr yoga teacher training, in Portugal; our first 300hr yoga teacher training focussing on holistic yoga therapy; and SUP (stand-up paddle) and SUP Yoga.
And please, if there is anything that you think we could offer which would serve you better - let us know.
I am deeply gratified to hear what so many of our guests feedback to us. Recently my mother came to visit us with a close friend of hers. This wonderful lady, my mother's friend, was deeply touched by the kindness she experienced from our staff, and told my mother that the holiday had been "a life changing experience". I can hope for no more than this, that for as many of our guests as possible, we provide the possibility for them to experience their inner peace of being, and remember that all is indeed well within them, no matter what might be arising around them.
May 2015 be a life-changing year for you all, and if we at Ashiyana can play some small part in that possibility, then please know that this is our deepest desire. We have an incredible global wellbeing vision which is gently unfolding, and in the coming weeks and months we will share this with you, so that if you wish to, you can co-create this dream with us.
