Yoga Teacher Trainings

Ashiyana Yoga School has been running 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainings since February 2010.  We will be offering both 200hr and 300hr Advanced TTCs in Alto Paraíso from 2020 - please check back soon for the exact dates.

At the core of our school's philosophy is the intention to empower and inspire our students to teach intuitively and authentically, always sharing from a heart-centred space.  Whilst we explore the traditional Yoga practices such as Pranayama, Asana, Meditation and Philosophy, our trainings also focus on the inner journey - we encourage self-exploration and the deepening of your connection with yourself. 

We believe self-empowered teachers that are creative, confident, compassionate, clear and flowing with life, are best able to create a safe and nurturing environment for others to explore their own inner world.  When you truly live who you are and teach what you love, you become the teaching itself, rather than just merely guiding a class.

200hr Yoga Teacher Training

Our 200hr Yoga Alliance Certified Courses are open to all - from those embarking on their yoga journey to experienced practitioners who wish to deepen their knowledge and teaching skills.   We aim to inspire you to take your Yoga off the mat and into every aspect of your life, as a process of self-healing whilst you learn that you are responsible for your own joy and peace.

300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training

Our Advanced Course is designed for existing yoga teachers who wish to further their knowledge and teaching skills, as well as developing their own personal practice.  As well as providing you with a broader set of skills, knowledge and insights as a teacher, this training is a deeply experiential and personal journey of self-discovery and exploration.  This Yoga Alliance Certified Training will pay particular attention to the therapeutic effects of Yoga, and will continue to deepen the focus of our 200hr YTT; teaching with authenticity whilst holding a nurturing and safe space for students.
